Raucous, brazen October gave way to a quieter, austere November who begs us to slow down, take notice, appreciate, and wonder.  We too must do the same and take stock of our lives and the people who mean the most to us, whether it be family, friends, customers, employees, vendors, neighbors, or even perfect strangers…

A perfect stranger so selflessly fought for our freedoms.  A perfect stranger heeded the call to aid the helpless and annihilate evil.  A perfect stranger made the ultimate sacrifice, so we may have a better life.  “Freedom”, as it’s often said, “is never free.”.  Did you know of the 16.1 million WWII soldiers, only 120,000 remain, and only 800,000 Vietnam Veterans are alive today?  Seize the moment and honor our veterans each and every day by supporting one of the many, amazing service organizations, like the Wounded Warrior Project, HeroBox, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, etc.  Sweeney’s has and is a proud partner of Green Care for Troops, a nationwide outreach program that connects local landscapers with men and women serving our country away from home. Sweeney’s proudly serves the communities of Villa Park, Elmhurst, Oakbrook, Oakbrook Terrace, Glen Ellyn, Lombard, Wood Dale, Itasca, and more!
