It’s true.  It did start with a post card, and a dream…

It’s hard to believe we’re seventeen years into the business.  In some ways, it seems like only yesterday, but when I look back at the very early days, we’ve certainly come a long way!  Tom & I had started this business with extensive experience in the landscape industry, but we had never owned and operated our own company.  It all started in a small office in an old school administration building with one truck, one trailer, one crew leader, and a lot of blood, sweat and tears. We often worked around the clock, hand-delivering proposals, manually typing invoices, picking up materials, etc. We laugh now as I believe I had formally resigned at least a handful of times in the first few years.  As you can see, my resignations were categorically ignored and/or withdrawn

Despite the challenges, we never waivered from our initial passion and drive to make a difference in the lives of our customers, employees, and community.  We wanted to make our little corner of the world a little better, a little brighter, a little greener.  I’m happy to say, seventeen years later, we still very much feel this way, and have made constant strides to ensure we are on the right path.

With the ongoing support of our loyal customers, dedicated employees, valued vendors, and community partners, we continue to learn, adapt, innovate, and hopefully deliver on our promise to share our passion, exceed our clients’ expectations, and make this world a little better for all of us!
