November is the gateway to the Holiday season. A time for reflection, a time to be thankful, and a time to give. As we look back upon the year, we are reminded of the wonderful memories and special people who are part of the great tapestry of our lives, rich in texture, diverse in color. We are immensely grateful. We are superbly blessed.
At this time of the year, we begin to pay more attention to those in need, to those who have accomplished great things for our communities and country, our children, and their future. Although we try and make them a priority all year-long through organizations like Green Care for Troops, Wounded Warriors, and DuPage Pads, we ask you to consider supporting the Girl Scouts as we have.
This year, local Girl Scout Troop# 50111 (Wood Dale/Bensenville) has been given the opportunity to sell wreaths and holiday greenery along with the Boy Scouts. Although the turnaround time is quick, we ask you to consider placing an order via Sweeney’s. We have the ability to reach a wider audience, and in doing so, we together are supporting the local troop, and all the great things Scouting stands for. In fact, this particular troop just earned their Silver Award – the second highest achievement in the Girl Scout organization!
If interested, please just shoot Sweeney’s an email. Orders are due by Saturday, November 7th, and product will be delivered around November 15th, at which time, money will also be collected. We’ll be sure to schedule a delivery time when it’s convenient for you.
Order form/flyer as follows (if too difficult to read, reach out to Sweeney’s for additional assistance):
“Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love.”
