The air has a certain sweetness, unique only to Spring, and there’s a sense of great activity as witnessed in the neighborhood birds and squirrels. In fact, as I stepped outside the other evening, the birds were still chattering away, as if serenading the moon or perhaps lulling the sun to sleep as it disappeared over the horizon. They had a song in their hearts and were eager to share it with anyone who would listen, including me and a passing moth. Yes, a moth. I cannot say I missed these winged insects or their creepy, crawling kin, but the moth was a sure sign that the life-cycle was spinning, and soon the world would be transformed again with buds, leaves, flowers, grass, bugs, bees, moths, and the Sweeney’s team.
Sweeney’s is amping up for another great year, and has been working hard to make improvements through innovations that we hope will delight our customers with greater service and efficiency.
All crew leaders carry smart phones, so they can stay connected to the office at all times while receiving updates, special project notes, photos, etc. Conversely, the crew leaders can feed vital information to the office, like photos, so real-time solutions and service can be implemented in a blink of an eye. Our sales team will now be using tablets, so when they are out in the field, the tablet allows them the ability to draw up a proposal immediately while still on-site. Talk about service! Additionally, as we touched upon last week, all Sweeney’s team members will receive on-going training through LS Training, an industry certified program, so they can continue to work safer and smarter, delivering results that exceed our customers’ expectations.
All proposals/estimates, invoices, and payments, as always, are handled electronically, so no more waiting for the mail or writing a check. Of course, we can always mail things, if you prefer, and checks and cash are always welcome, but we’re hoping our streamlined systems make it easier and more convenient for you, so you can concentrate on other, more important things like family, friends, and the bragging rights of a beautifully landscaped and maintained yard.
